Jonathan Throp
Joined the firm in 1986, became a partner in 1988 and was made senior partner
in 2005.
Jonathan is head of the Conveyancing department and his expertise is in
Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Leasing, Council house purchases,
Remortgages, Tenancy agreements and Transfers of equity.
Marilyn Edwards
Marilyn qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and has had a successful career working in London and Kent, before joining Chapmans. She is a member of both the Law Society's Children Panel and Family Law Panel as well as a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association).
Her expertise is in Divorce, Separation, Pre-nuptial agreements, Child disputes, Domestic and violence Injunctions, Unmarried parents and Co-habitees.
Andrew Findlay
Joined the firm in 2001 and was made a partner in 2002.
Andrew deals with both litigation and Private Client work. In Litigation his experience is in Personal Injury, Negligence, Contractual disputes, Building / Property disputes, Landlord and Tenant disputes & Employment Law. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. His expertise in Private Client work covers Wills, Inheritance Tax planning, Administration of estates, Court of Protection, Powers of Attorney and Trust management.
